    The Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) offers many computer-based legal tutorials for use by law students at member institutions. Under the topic International Law, topics covered include foreign law, customary International law, foreign constitutions, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations, and more.

    Foreign Law Guide (FLG) is an essential database offering relevant information on sources of foreign law, including complete bibliographic citations to legislation, the existence of English translations, and selected references to secondary sources in one virtual destination.

    This database, in addition to law reviews and journals, contains several collections, including Foreign and International Law Resources, History of International Law, and Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals.

    Under the international tab, there is a listing for all countries and regions which lists various resources (cases, legislation, news, and other information) as available for that country.

    The Max Planck Encyclopedia of Comparative Constitutional Law (MPECCoL) provides a high level of analytical coverage of constitutional law topics in a comparative context.

    Go to Westlaw’s International Materials tab to search for content in various countries. You can also search for international news by region or world journals by country. Be sure to search by country in Practical Law for checklists, how to guides, templates, and other practice tips.

  • Guide to Law Online: Nations of the World – A series of guides, by the Law Library of Congress, that point to free online resources from various counties (constitution; executive, legislative and judicial branches; etc).
  • JuriGlobe – Contains sections on jurisdictions and their type of legal system (civil, common, customary, Muslim, and mixed laws) and their official languages and lists international commercial conventions.
  • WorldLII - The World Legal Information Institute “aims to provide free access to worldwide law, and has been developed collaboratively by various Legal Information Institutes around the world. WorldLII can be used to locate both primary and secondary legal materials.”
